The ENSTA Paris library

The library of ENSTA Paris is open to all, upon registration. In addition to its documentary and educational resources, the library provides its users with a variety of spaces where they can consult books, work alone or in groups, relax, or reproduce documents.

Opening time

  • From Monday to Thrusday: 12:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
  • Friday: 12:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

Access conditions

The ENSTA Paris library is open to everyone.

For outsiders wishing to access the library, an access request must be made beforehand at To access the Multimedia Documentation Centre (CDM), you will be required to provide identification at the reception of the School.

Due to the health crisis, everyone is asked to respect the sanitary instructions in force at school, i.e. social distancing and wearing a mask. A hydroalcoholic gel dispenser is available at the library entrance.

Rental conditions

The loan of documents (free registration on request) is reserved for the public of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and its partners (Paris-Saclay and HEC).

Rental terms
Each reader can borrow 10 physical documents (including 2 DVDs) and 5 journals. 
The rental period is 4 weeks for books and journals, and 8 days for DVDs.
